Russo-Ukrainian conflict: A worrying escalation and international tensions at stake

Imagine getting up in the morning and suddenly, as you’re getting into your car, someone jumps out in front of the road and asks you to stop. And you refuse to stop, then he shoots at the car. This is exactly what is happening in Belgorod, Russian territory, under attack from the Ukrainian military.
The Russians acknowledge the presence of the Ukrainian military, who acted as insurgents and launched an attack, but were repulsed. They reportedly shot dead 70 soldiers in Belgorod. It’s incredible and hard to imagine. These Ukrainian soldiers obviously showed up with American trucks, such as the USM One Two-Two for Max Pro Emrap, a U.S. Army truck that was given to Ukraine to fight on its own territory. However, it now appears that American tanks, missiles and even pilots have been sent to support Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.
The attitude of the United States in this situation is criticized, by virtue of broken promises not to use these weapons and equipment on Russian territory. Past political declarations have not always materialized. Despite earlier statements that the USA would not transfer weapons such as F-12, F-16 or F-18 fighter jets to Ukraine, a recent government decision has authorized such a transfer. We can also underline the risks of this escalation, with its potential consequences for Europe. Russia has clearly expressed its opposition to the supply of F-12, F-16 or F-18 fighter jets to Ukraine, for which Ukrainian military personnel have begun training in Europe.
In an interview with CNN, we can hear the statements of the US National Security Advisor, who stresses the sending of arms to Ukraine as a means of supporting its defense. The President of NATO is thinking along the same lines.
