South Africa: Julius Malema denounces US tactics and calls for African emancipation

Julius Malema, president of the EFF (Economics Freedom Fighters) political party in South Africa, a very strong and courageous man, speaks out. In his speech, he asserts that the United States is waging a campaign to destroy Russia, cleaning up its reputation and seeking to isolate it. According to him, the US ambassador in Pretoria or Johannesburg had insinuated that South Africa was sending arms and munitions to Russia. However, Malema points out that South Africa is unable to feed Russia in terms of armaments, and that the United States continues to wage a proxy war through NATO.

Africa needs courageous personalities like him. Sadly, many bold Africans like this leader, such as Thomas Sankara, Lumumba and John Tomber, did not survive.

Economic interests behind the war

Malema asserts that the United States seeks the destruction of Russia, not a peaceful resolution to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. According to him, war is a lucrative business, with many American companies making money by selling arms and munitions. And Ukraine will have to pay for all these weapons. What’s more, rebuilding Ukraine is another way for these companies to make money, which is why they don’t want the war to end.

Julius Malema calls for external solidarity and defends African unity

Julius Malema also calls on Africans to withdraw from the International Criminal Court, describing it as useless. We know ex-President George Bush and his accomplice Tony Blair, who destroyed Iraq without suffering the consequences. Bush had made a speech accusing Iraq of concealing weapons of mass destruction. In the same speech, he imposed a binary choice: to be with the United States or against it.

Through his EFF political party, Malema encourages Africa to disengage from entities that bring no benefit, and to stop playing a passive role. He also criticizes the international community’s inaction towards Palestine and Israel, underlining the injustice of this silence. Few people have the courage to express themselves openly as he does.

On the subject of South Africa, the EFF president discusses xenophobic tensions between South Africans and foreigners. He rejects accusations by some politicians that Nigerians are involved in drug trafficking, saying he will never stand up against his African brother. He refuses to follow the populist rhetoric calling for the deportation of illegal immigrants from Africa. South Africa is a developed and advanced country, offering many opportunities to Africans, and it takes a stand against any discriminatory policies towards African immigrants.

In conclusion, Malema encourages Africans not to be intimidated by the fear of losing contracts or opportunities by choosing who they want to work with. For example, the AGOA program, from which South Africans benefit greatly, should not be an object of intimidation.
