Julius Malema: A powerful African leader who advocates independence and the valorization of Africa

Julius Malema is a powerful and dynamic man from South Africa, at the head of the IF, a new and influential political party that is bringing about changes in the way Africans think. He recently made a speech stressing that France holds the bank reserves of African states, but Africans want to regain control of their economy and their constitution. Malema asserts that France has built its economy on African resources and declares that Africa does not need France, but rather that it is France that needs Africa.

Africa’s coveted potential

He refers to Jacques Chirac’s open admission that much of the money in French wallets has come from centuries of African exploitation. Indeed, the latter insisted on the need to render justice to Africans by returning what was taken from them, in order to avoid serious political consequences.

Africa has great commercial, financial and entrepreneurial power. Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to know. South Africa is a relatively free country, unlike other African countries where democratic freedoms are limited.

Fighting for independence

Julius Malema, a model of struggle to preserve his values

Malema also criticizes Francophone domination of the African Union, and denounces France’s attempts to manipulate it in order to maintain economic and decision-making control over African countries. However, South Africans are very brave and fear neither the police nor the army. Recently, there was an incident where the French ambassador was confronted by South African demonstrators during a march. Indeed, following the French takeover of a chamber of the African Union with the aim of keeping a stranglehold on African economies and decisions, the South Africans decided to demonstrate and hand over the memorandum to the French embassy. The French ambassador could not have taken this document to other African countries.

It’s sad to see how Africa has been divided by the former French and English colonies, but let’s salute the bravery of those who are fighting to change things and show that Africans aren’t stupid. We pay tribute to Mali and Burkina Faso for their courage. We aspire to a free and self-determined Africa, with its own currency, its own military system and its own decision-making. Africans are fed up with migrating to other countries.

Standing up for your values

The fight is not against the French in general, as many French people face the same challenges as Africans, but rather against the oligarchy that seeks to control everyone and exploit Africa. We are called to stand up for just causes, because salvation will come from Africans themselves. Malema founded the IF after leaving the ANC, Nelson Mandela’s political party, due to differences in values. It’s important to stay true to your values, even if other people think differently. Being alone in thinking differently from the majority doesn’t necessarily mean you’re wrong. You have to stand up for your values.
