Drone attack: Russia blames Ukraine

Ukraine and Russia are at the center of an intriguing event. Two drones were shot down over the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Apparently, the aim of these drones was to eliminate the Russian head of state. But the question is, who sent the drones and what were the real motives behind the act?

There are precedents for drones being sent from Ukraine to Russia, which has drawn criticism from Russia in the past. This could suggest that Ukraine has the capability to send drones to Russia.

However, despite having the necessary means to send these drones, the Ukrainians swear their innocence in this affair with a strong alibi: they are focused on fighting on Ukrainian territory, defending villages and the entire population, and therefore have no head for attacking the Russian president in person. The Ukrainian president made a speech in Finland to this effect, declaring that he had not attacked Russia.

Hypotheses about the sponsors of the drone strike in Russia

This situation gives rise to a number of hypotheses. First of all, there are past references proving that Ukraine is indeed capable of sending war drones. Indeed, it wouldn’t be the first time.

Another hypothesis is that Ukraine would like to eliminate Vladimir Putin, as he is seen as the main reason for the war in Ukraine. This would put an end to the conflict. What’s more, some Western countries might also support this idea, since they see Putin as the one responsible for the war.

A possibility that Russia itself was behind the attack

However, if the drones were sent to Russia by Ukraine, would he have directed it directly at the Kremlin? You’d have to be pretty smart to think that Putin would spend the night in a place as exposed as the Kremlin. He is a well-informed and well-trained former KGB agent. Why would the world’s most hated and coveted president spend the night in a residence where everyone knows he’ll be?

Another possibility is that this is a Russian maneuver to justify military action against Ukraine. If it is confirmed that Ukraine sent the drones to kill Putin, Russia could retaliate by attacking the Ukrainian president’s residence. And precisely the questions that arise here are how could the Russians, as armed and powerful as they are, with the best military defense system in the world, have missed these drones? Is it possible to send weapons to the Kremlin without them being intercepted? So Putin himself could have sent those drones to find a legitimate reason to attack Ukraine and finish off its president?

The United States in the crosshairs of the accusations

What’s more, it’s not just Ukraine that wants Putin’s head, it’s the whole West that’s at odds with this president. This is because after the sanctions imposed on Russia, it was able to survive and overcome the difficulties it faced. The other theory is that the United States could be behind this action. In order to observe Putin’s reaction in the event of an attack against him, the Americans might have this idea. This would give them a deeper understanding of the geopolitical situation.

The drone incident over the Kremlin raises questions about the masterminds behind the attack and the motives behind it. As the main suspect, Ukraine refutes all the accusations levelled against it. However, it cannot be ruled out that another state was behind the incident. In any case, the geopolitical situation between these countries is deteriorating by the day, with various players and interests at stake.

Vladimir Putin expected in South Africa

On the other hand, Vladimir Putin is expected in South Africa for the meeting that brings together all those countries rebelling against the Western system and interference. Today, Russia, China, India, South Africa and Brazil are joining forces to create a new system. They have decided to choose a new currency, so that they can carry out their transactions without being exposed to sanctions every time they oppose the West. Even if it’s true that some vengeful people are waiting for him to stop them too.
