The war in Ukraine has been going on for some time, raising many questions. There is talk of possible Russian aggression against Ukraine, with the presence of Russian troops on Ukrainian territory. However, it’s important to ask why the war isn’t over. Is Putin really the problem, or is it more generalized to Russians as a people?<\/p>\n
The Russians accuse the Ukrainians of harboring a group of Nazis, people who consider themselves superior to others, with a neo-fascist mentality. The Ukraine is moving closer to NATO, which displeases Russia. The West, for its part, accuses Russia of violating the sovereignty of a foreign country. What’s really going on? What’s preventing this war from coming to an end?<\/p>\n
Many lives have been lost so far, but why does the war continue? Why is there no agreement or resolution? At one point, the Ukrainian president was ready to negotiate and cede part of Ukraine to Russia, including a predominantly Russian-speaking region. But why did he change his mind? He seems to have been influenced by foreign forces, pushed by the West to pursue this war which is clearly financially supported by the West.<\/p>\n
